2. Scientific Content and Ethical Rules
While preparing abstracts, it is important to ensure that they are original and comprehensive in terms of subject and content. In the abstract, the purpose of the study and the methods used should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail, and the conclusion should be explained within the framework of the findings presented. It is important to pay attention to scientific language and spelling rules. It is an absolute prerequisite to comply with ethical rules, especially in clinical studies and animal studies. Abstracts are evaluated and scored by the scientific committee in a blind manner (names of the institution and the author are covered). For this reason, person or institution information should not be given in the abstract. Abstracts that do not comply with these rules will be rejected without being evaluated.
Abstracts can be prepared on the following topics. When uploading the abstract to the system, it must be stated for which topic it was prepared.
- Study type: Authors should mention the study type as clinical research, experimental research or case report. Studies on animals should be submitted as experiential research. Patient reports including one to two cases will be presented in case reports session.
- Presentation choice: The presentation preference of the abstract (oral, poster) must be specified when uploading to the system. However, the presentation format may be changed by the scientific committee after the evaluation of the abstract.
